But Indian sports — a ₹94,000 crore economy with 60 crore participants — still runs on paper certificates, unverifiable claims, fragmented federation databases and spreadsheets that never talk to each other.
For the athlete registering for a tournament, the coach trying to prove credibility, the federation managing members, the government accounting for where funds went — the system fails, repeatedly, predictably.
SporTech Innovation Lab was founded with a single, clear conviction: sports needs permanent, institutional digital infrastructure. Not another app. Not another platform. The underlying rails on which all sports activity can be recorded, verified, transacted and governed.
We are building it for the whole ecosystem — village grounds, urban stadia and the digital arenas where eSports athletes now compete. Not just the 3%.
Technology is not yet ready. Execution is not yet possible. The vision is set aside — but never abandoned.
Sanand imports sports equipment, coaches athletes, lives the fragmentation from the inside. Pinaze builds schools across India and earns a PhD in Learning Disabilities. Both accumulate the deep domain knowledge that will eventually power SporTech’s architecture.
Sanand and Pinaze dissolve other ventures, commit personal capital and formally found SporTech Innovation Lab with a single mission: build what is missing.

A platform serves users. Infrastructure serves an ecosystem. We’re building systems so foundational that when they work, nobody notices them — and when they’re absent, everything breaks.
Our philosophy begins with the athlete — every athlete in the ecosystem. The 97% in villages and small towns who play without support systems, and the 3% in metros whose records are still paper. If the infrastructure does not serve the whole of it, it is not infrastructure at all.
Our founder is an international archer training for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, living the broken system every day. That founder–market fit is rare, and it shapes every decision we make.
